DENTURE SMILE DESIGN PROCESS:

It is important that you make the final decisions on size, shape, shade & smile selection of your dentures.

A. TEETH SELECTION: SIZE & SHAPE – You can decide what size and shape of teeth will give you a confident, younger looking smile.

B. SMILE SELECTION: DOMINANT, NATURAL, SOFT, OR HOLLYWOOD – What kind of smile looks best to you? Which one are you most attracted to?

C. TEETH SELECTION: COLOR

The chart below can help you to match your new dentures to your current tooth color. There are many shades of “white” teeth. It is important to get as close to your natural “white” as possible.

TYPES OF DENTURES:
1) REMOVABLE IMMEDIATE DENTURE AND COMPLETE DENTURE

Both the immediate denture and the complete denture are made in the same way. Before dentures are made, unhealthy teeth are

typically extracted. The immediate denture is fitted for comfort right after the teeth are extracted. Once the bone and gums change after the healing process, then the complete denture is made and fitted for ultimate comfort. It is imperative to make sure that dentures look natural and feel comfortable for people.

1) An Earbow is used to measure three reference points on the
clientʼs face. (The left ear, right ear and nose.) These three points
make a plane and sets the parameter on how to set the new teeth.
2) These reference points are translated to a machine that shows the
same position as the clientʼs mouth. This machine moves like the
clients mouth.
3) This shows the setting of the new teeth.
4) This is a replication of the clientʼs lower existing teeth. This shows
how the denture will fit with the existing teeth.

These are very easy to clean yourself. They can clip in and out without the help of a dental professional, but they are still very secure and wonʼt pop off when you are eating or talking.
