Gear Up for Your First Appointment With Us
Are you preparing for your very first appointment with Dr. Hong and his team? A great way to get started is to take a look at our new client info page below! Here, you can find everything you need to ensure your initial appointment is a productive and efficient one. We’ve included info on what to expect at your first visit, essential forms to fill out, and financing solutions for your care. We look forward to seeing you soon!
Your First Dental Visit
During your first visit, we’ll make sure you’ve completed all new client forms beforehand. If not, we’ll ask you to fill them out, then bring you back to meet Dr. Hong and one of our hygienists when we are ready. During your first visit, we make sure to give you enough time to discuss your dental needs directly. If you need a basic checkup, we’ll perform a brief exam and ideally a cleaning with time permitting. If further treatment is needed, we’ll recommend a treatment plan, then get you scheduled for a follow-up through our front desk.
New Client Forms
New client forms give us an opportunity to learn more about you, your oral health needs, and any other accommodations we should know about ahead of time. This includes pre-existing conditions that can affect your oral health, current medications, and contact information. Please download, print, complete, and bring your forms to the smile studio before your visit. Alternatively, you may arrive 15 minutes ahead of your scheduled appointment time.
While Dr. Hong’s smile studio is a fee-for-service dental office, we gladly welcome dental insurance plans and will go over your coverage to ensure you’re getting the most out of your dental benefits. Our front desk will read over your plan and do their best to maximize it to the fullest extent. If you have questions about financing your care, please let us know; our knowledgeable team would be happy to go over your options.
Finding it difficult to pay for your dental treatments? Third-party financing is a great option to consider, especially for more expensive services or complex treatment plans. With CareCredit, you can pay for your dental care in monthly installments over a longer period of time, rather than in one large sum. In many cases, you can expect little to no interest attached to these payments, making your care even more affordable. If you’d like to learn more about financing through CareCredit, let us know.
